After 16 years of operation in East Grinstead, The WTW-SCOTT Cinema Group is passing ownership of your local cinema to our friends at The Digital Picture House Ltd (DPH) from Friday 9th August. The amazing team at DPH also run the Picture House in Uckfield, which has been in family ownership since 1916, where they have run an amazingly successful business with a very loyal audience.

As the cinema industry landscape in the UK is rapidly changing, it's incredibly important to us that venues are operated to the highest standard and are able to retain strong local support from the communities they serve. We believe our long-term friends at DPH are in an excellent position to do that, and we can't wait for them to tell you about their plans in East Grinstead.

If you have a Scott Cinemas Gift Card, the new owners will be honouring these for a period of one year from today (8th August). These can be accepted in-cinema only, not online, sorry. If you have a Cinema Society discount code, you can still use these as well.

We'd like to take this opportunity to thank our amazing group of staff - past and present - at the cinema for their incredible effort in continuing to provide you with theatrical entertainment, often in the most difficult of circumstances. We'd also like to thank you all for being a part of our journey.
