INFORMATION

The Bolshoi Ballet returns to cinemas with an outstanding new season for 2016-2017. For the seventh consecutive year, four exceptional titles will be broadcast live via satellite from Moscow: The Golden Age, Sleeping Beauty, A Contemporary Evening and A Hero of our Time. In addition, three magnificent classics will be presented captured live: The Bright Stream, The Nutcracker and Swan Lake. 
 
The greatest names of the ballet world will take to the Moscow stage, including Svetlana Zakharova, David Hallberg, Olga Smirnova, Vladislav Lantratov, Denis Rodkin and Mikhail Lobukhin, along with the unparalleled Bolshoi Corps de Ballet.

These performances are Free List Suspended and no free tickets or advertisers passes can be used.

 

CERTIFICATION

Event Cinema presentations are classed as 12A by default, except where noted otherwise. This reflects the fact that the BBFC has not examined content, and therefore we are advised that it cannot be determined whether the material contained within the presentation is suitable for children. The applied 12A certificate means that persons under the age of 12 can only be admitted when accompanied by a parent or adult guardian.

In some situations, Event Cinema presentations may have a classification pre-determined by either the venue of origination, or the distributor. These certificates reflect the original ratings applied to the content of any show, for example by the exhibiting theatre. These certificates are clearly displayed next to the presentation title.

Encore performances are always rated by the BBFC. Please note that for 15 & 18 certificate presentations, nobody under that age can be admitted,
